The Mudd Run

In a few hours I'll be leaving for Florida to spend just over a week sailing with some teacher friends in the Florida Keys. We are hoping to first go to the Dry Tortugas to visit Fort Jefferson, where Dr. Samuel Mudd was imprisoned for treating the broken leg of John Wilkes Booth after the assassination of President Lincoln. This area is also supposed to have great snorkling. From there we will head back east to Key West.
